Renee and Francois’ Free Library of Philadelphia Wedding

When first meeting with the bride and groom, the bride had told me how the photos are the most important part for her. Following that statement with, “no pressure of course.” When I had arrived at the Logan to find Renee getting her hair done by the talented stylists from Boho Hair Salon, she began to cry because she said that was the moment the day finally felt real. We all laughed that luckily Brennan hadn’t started Renee’s make up yet.

There’s no question about the fact that Renee is absolutely stunning, but when she was all ready and finally put on her lace Martina Liana wedding dress, the room was filled with tears once again, but this time from her mother and beautiful bridesmaids.

Renee had decided that a dramatic dress like hers needed a dramatic entrance – and did she deliver on the drama by having the ceremony at main lobby of The Free Library of Philadelphia. Francois, looking dapper in his Bonobos suit & Versace shoes, waited eagerly for his bride, and when Renee entered the room, walking slowly down that gorgeous marble staircase, there was not a dry eye in the room. 

I know it seems like all we did was cry this day but I promise we had a ton of laughs as well. After a quick ceremony, the couple had joined all of their friends and family on the outside terrace of the Philadelphia library. The lights from Philly Marquee‘s LOVE sign illuminated the rooftop as all the guests enjoyed delicious food from Brulee Catering and did not stop dancing all night, helping me create some pretty hilarious action photos.

From the custom wedding invite illustrations to the delicate calligraphy on the ribbons of the bridesmaids bouquets, every detail of this wedding made it an absolutely perfect evening.

Renee and Francois, I am so honored to have been there alongside you for your special day. You two have been an absolute dream to work with and I wish you many years of bliss together!
