Bill and Julia: Excellence El Carmen, Punta Cana Destination Wedding Photography

Julia and Bill live by the motto, “Gotta do it.” They have always been the adventurous type that live each day like their last so when planning their wedding, they knew it had to be a destination wedding. The couple traveled to Excellence El Carmen in Punta Cana from Philadelphia, PA with 20 of their closest friends and family members for an incredible weekend of unforgettable memories. 

From a hilarious first look (seriously scroll down to check it out) to an emotional & intimate beach ceremony, Julia and Bill’s wedding day was nothing short of perfect. Sometimes I will half jokingly suggest taking a photo just to see how people will react – like, I don’t know… jumping into the pool with your gorgeous Pronovias wedding dress on. Crazy, right? Not for this couple. Any and every crazy idea that I had for a portrait on their wedding day, neither the bride or groom had to think about it for a second; They both simply looked at me and said, “Yeah! I don’t know why we wouldn’t!” 

Julia and Bill, you have been absolutely incredible to me so I have to say it one more time – thank you. Thank you for including me as part of your beautiful destination wedding in Punta Cana. Thank you for making me feel welcome all weekend, Thank you for putting a strong emphasis on having an unplugged ceremony (looking at you Julia), and thank you for just caring about the art of photography.
