While Jillian said that on her wedding day she wants to feel like a fairytale princess, and wants it to be super elegant, she had also told me she envisions their engagement shoot to be a bit more laid back, relaxed and fun.
Jillian and Brandon spend most of their time in the summer at the beach so they decided that having a summer time amusement park engagement session would be perfect!
Working with the couple was nothing but laughs all day. Brandon and Jillian arrived at Playland’s Castaway Cove in Ocean City, NJ looking like they stepped straight out of the movie Grease. The couple was dressed in all black with T-Birds leather jackets. Jillian even had red shoes to match Sandy’s character perfectly.
We spent the day going on all the different rides, playing games, and eating ice-cream. I love that all of these photos capture who Jillian and Brandon are as a couple, with genuine smiles and laughter in almost every shot. I had so much photographing this New Jersey boardwalk engagement shoot and I hope it inspires people to have fun with photography while making some genuine, beautiful memories together.
