Luxury Cescaphe Vie Wedding

A little bit of rain in Philadelphia was not stopping this wedding party!

While the groom gifted all of his groomsmen custom bottles of Don Julio tequila with their individual names engraved on the bottles, the bride kicked off her Louboutin heels and spent the morning sipping on rose with her best girlfriends by her side. Mariya got ready at Hotel Monaco in historic Old City Philadelphia. Yuliya did a beautiful job on the bride’s makeup and Julie Kinakh, owner of Love My Do Salon, gave the bride the most perfect old Hollywood curls to get her ready for her first look.

The couple shared their wedding day first look at one of the most popular locations in Old City Philadelphia, the Merchant’s Exchange building. There’s a reason this location is so popular amongst couples getting married in Philadelphia; it has a historic charm that makes it a perfect backdrop for a romantic wedding portraits.

I am not sure what is with the weather this year but we have had more rainy wedding days than ever before. Luckily, we also have amazing couples that looked at the rain, shrugged their shoulders, and went out to take portraits anyway. Mariya and Arkady’s whole first look was outside in the rain and, maybe it’s just me, but it almost added an extra bit of romance to it, kind of like in the movies when every romantic scene has fireworks or rain in it.

Luckily, the rain quickly passed in time for the couples outdoor ceremony at Cescaphe’s Vie. The outdoor ceremony space is charming and picturesque, while the cocktail space and reception room are contemporary and sleek, making it the perfect wedding venue for a big party with an intimate feel. Beautiful Blooms did an incredible job of balancing striking yet simple beauty as they wowed all of the guests with the floral walls, the flowers from the ceiling, and the flower petal cannon during the couple’s first dance.

Mariya and Arkady, I love that you did not let a little rain stop you from having the best day ever. Rain or shine, your wedding was flawless from start to finish and I hope these photos will forever be a reminder of how truly fun and incredible this day was.
