Waterworks by Cescaphe is a magical backdrop for any romantic Philadelphia wedding day, but somehow the rain on Jackie and Pete’s wedding day made it even more romantic. It may just be me but I thought the rain at the end of the evening made Philadelphia look a little bit like Paris.
Even though it rained all day for this chic Philadelphia wedding, the bride and groom were not about to let a little (or a lot) of rain ruin their day. Jackie spent the morning at her childhood home, getting ready with her family and best friends by her side. Noel Pirolli and Top Knots by Aimee made Jackie feel like a princess, even before the bride put on her wedding dress and Jimmy Choo heels.
Jackie’s sister, owner of Chelsea McLay Studios, designed custom mugs for all the bridesmaids morning coffee, and Jackie’s bridesmaid Melissa designed all the silk robes that the ladies wore that morning. After champagne and confetti, the bride put on her Martina Liana Bridal wedding dress and headed out to meet her husband-to-be.
We drove around Philadelphia in Cescaphe’s trolley looking for places to hide from the rain for the portrait session, but when it was time for the reception, the bride and groom embraced the weather and danced in the rain under a beautiful fireworks display by Pyrotecnico. Fireworks, music by The FM Band, cake by Cescaphe Cakes, and a rainy Philadelphia day that made the city look that much more romantic equaled up to a perfect recipe for a charming, elegant wedding.
