A bride who had three first looks, a groom whose dad specializes in custom tailored suits, and two adopted puppies who had groomers come to make sure they are all ready to walk down the aisle – I don’t even know where to start telling you about all the thoughtful details of this wedding so I guess let’s start at the beginning:
Jordyn and Charlie started their wedding day getting ready at Kimpton Hotel Monaco in historic Old City, Philadelphia. The bride got ready for her three first looks with the help of Makeup by Rita Marie and Alexis Burkhardt from Mane Bridal. Once her hair and makeup was complete, Jordyn changed into her show stopping Berta wedding dress and the bride was ready for her first look with her dad. After an unforgettable first look with her father, Jordyn headed outside of the Hotel Monaco for the next two looks: one with her rescue puppies and the last one with her groom-to-be of course.
While Jordyn was spending time with her beloved rescue dogs, Charlie was anxiously getting ready to see his bride, with the help of a well known, professional tailor in the city of Philadelphia, his dad. Recognized by Philadelphia Magazine as Best of Philly in Men’s Clothing, Charlie’s father, the owner of Distante, knew he had to pull out all the stops for his son’s big day. From custom cufflinks for the groomsmen to not just one, but two, custom suits for the groom, no small detail was left behind.
Once the bride and groom were both ready, it was time for them to meet up and read their vows to each other in private. Jordyn and Charlie had their first look in Old City Philadelphia, tucked away in a small garden, away from the crowds. After the couple had some time alone to read their vows and take it all in, they met up with their wedding party and took photos at Merchant Exchange Building, a popular wedding photography location in the city of Philadelphia. The historic yet modern look of this building makes it a beautiful backdrop for elegant wedding day photos.
Throughout the day, the couple had an unintentional yet undeniable theme of modern yet timeless glamour, from their wedding photos in Old City to their stunning ceremony and reception at Union Trust. With it’s 65ft ceilings, beautifully designed suites, and an incredible catering team, Union Trust is a venue that will leave your guests in awe.
Jordyn and Charlie, from your engagement shoot to the wedding day, you have made me feel like more like a friend than a vendor throughout the entire process. Thank you for choosing me, and my team, to be there with you in these important moments of your life. Wishing you two a lifetime of happiness.
