Best of 2018 Wedding Photography

It’s been an absolutely INSANE year!

I know most people don’t like to make resolutions but it’s my favorite part of starting a new year. I started 2018 by writing down some goals, and one by one, I crossed them off the list. Some of the resolutions I wrote down were to have my work published in a magazine, to photograph an intimate wedding in a national park, and to photograph a destination wedding abroad. I am proud to say that I did all that.

I started the 2018 wedding season in Punta Cana and ended it just a few weeks ago by photographing a wedding in Southhampton, England. During the summer time, I barely spent any time at home at all. I went from photographing a wedding in Brooklyn, New York to flying straight out to the west coast for a beautiful anniversary session and then straight to Colorado Springs for an intimate elopement right in the middle of the Garden of the Gods National Park. In between all of that traveling, I’ve had so many incredible Philadelphia weddings, working with the the most fun couples and the most talented vendors.

Like I said, this year has been absolutely insane but in a good way.

I couldn’t do any of this without the continuous support, love, and trust that I get from the people that I work with. I am incredibly fortunate that my job has introduced me to some of the kindest people I know. To all of my couples, I want to say thank you. There are days in everyone’s life where they get down on themselves and question if what they’re doing is the right thing, and you guys are the thing that keep me going. Your willingness to jump into a pool with your wedding dress on – you telling me that I can’t leave your wedding until I take a picture with you in the photo booth – you leaving me an extra piece of cake at the end of the night to take home – and all of the lovely thank you cards that you send me which leave me ugly crying – all of it is why I do what I do.

Below are just some of the beautiful memories made in 2018. There were many, many more but unfortunately I had to try my best to narrow it down! I can’t thank everyone enough. I love you guys and I can’t wait for all of the adventure and excitement that 2019 will bring! Happy New Year everyone!

Something else from this year that brought me immeasurable joy is being able to do all of these travels with my mama by side. I promised her that one day I would show her the Redwoods trees and I am happy to say that I was finally able to do so. Thank you mama for traveling with me, for scouting locations for hours, and for fixing the brides hair or dress when needed. You are the best assistant & travel buddy a girl could ask for!
