Elegant Cescaphe Water Works Wedding

Their first date was at Waterworks by the Art Museum in Philadelphia.
Their first kiss was at Waterworks by the Art Museum in Philadelphia.
The groom then proposed to his future bride at Waterworks by the Art Museum in Philadelphia.
Naturally, their wedding day was in Old City.

I’m just kidding – I just thought that would be funny.
Of course when it came to planning their wedding day, the couple had to get married at Cescaphe’s Waterworks. It’s where they shared so many special moments.

Myrna and Gus both started their morning at The Logan. The Logan Hotel is a favorite amongst Philly couples for their wedding days because it’s right in the heart of center city Philadelphia and has a modern yet elegant flair to it.

Mona Chebli did the most beautiful job with the bride’s hair and makeup, and once she put the final touches on the bride’s hair by adding a gorgeous Dareth Colburn hair piece, Myrna truly looked like royalty. The bridesmaids popped champagne and also wore champagne (colored Jenny Yoo dresses) while they helped Myrna with her wedding dress and Badgley Mischka heels. With lace detailing and buttons from top to bottom, the bride wowed all of her bridesmaids in her Martina Liana dress and was ready to go to her first look with her husband-to-be.

Gus, looking handsome as ever in his Bonobos suit, was waiting patiently, vows in hand, for his bride to meet him at the gazebo by the water where they had their first date and first kiss. For their wedding day first look, the couple stood back to back and read their vows to each other, creating a completely private and intimate moment for just the two of them to share. They held hands, cried, laughed, and then finally turned around to see each other, hold each other, and walk together towards their dream venue on their dream day.

The rose and champagne theme continued when the ceremony room was transformed into an outdoor reception area. Beautiful Blooms decorated Waterworks with string lights, champagne colored florals framing the couples sweetheart table, and rose gold flowers to top off the wedding cake. Not only was the reception beautiful, but it was so much fun. After Afrah Events welcomed the couple into the reception with a beautiful Zaffe entrance, the DJ kept all the wedding guests dancing all night.

Myrna and Gus, thank you for choosing me as your wedding day photographer. It was a picture-perfect day from start to finish and I feel honored to have been a part of it all.
