Fairytale Rodin Museum Wedding

Is there a better way to celebrate romance than to have The Philadelphia String Quartet playing while you have a garden party wedding at one of the most romantic venues in Philadelphia? The center fountain and beautiful outdoor gardens make the Rodin Museum the most iconic backdrop for a fairy-tale wedding.

No fairytale would be complete without Prince Charming coming to the rescue. On the morning of Amy and Brent’s wedding, Amy was putting her dress on and scratched her eye on a piece of plastic that was left inside of the dress. The bride’s eye kept watering, the pain was unbearable, and she was worried that her photos on the day she has been dreaming about since she was a little girl would be less than dreamy. Insert this fairytale’s Prince Charming.

Upon hearing that his bride was in pain and stressed over the remainder of the wedding day, Brent went out and got Amy white Celine sunglasses – the 2021 version of the Cinderella glass slipper. Without knowing all the details of the morning, I first saw the bride in her jaw dropping Madi Lane dress, the most beautiful all pink bouquet by RAM Floral, and those white sunglasses, and instantly exclaimed, “What a trendsetter! I am obsessed with this look!”

Amy always said that she wanted her wedding to be timeless but with a modern twist, and I believe that these sunglasses added just the right amount of modern to the couples otherwise classic wedding. There was no bridal party and no big reception. This wedding was just the bride, the groom, and a handful of their closest family and friends celebrating their love story.

Amy and Brent, thank you so much for choosing me as the photographer for your intimate wedding at The Rodin Museum. I know that it may not have gone exactly as you had imagined, and that there were bumps in the road, but you had the best attitudes throughout the whole day and that just shows how strong you are – both as individuals and as a couple. I hope that when you look back at these photos, you don’t think about the things that did not go as planned, but instead think back to how beautifully you overcame everything, together.
