Bridget and Nicholas got engaged at the beach in New Jersey. Well, not exactly. Nicky planned the most romantic proposal overlooking the bay at the Jersey shore, where the couple spends most of their time in the summer, but just as he was about to ask his future bride to go for their evening walk down to the water, it started to downpour.
Bridget wanted to head inside but the couples families were decorating the house for the surprise, so the groom-to-be had to think quick and proposed to the girl he’s known since Kindergarten outside of their beach house in the pouring rain. It’s still a super romantic story if you ask me.
Luckily, when I met the couple in New Jersey for their engagement photoshoot at the shore, the weather was absolutely perfect. We walked over to the park that Bridget and Nicky go to all the time and got to take photos while watching the most beautiful sunset.
