Something about taking engagement photos in Old City Philadelphia is just so romantic. It’s even more romantic when the couple has a special connection to this part of Philly. For Aley and Shadi, Old City Philadelphia is where they met and where they spent the first few years of their relationship.
It’s very rare that the guy we use as our pretend boyfriend at the bar ends up being our actual boyfriend. It’s even more rare that he ends up being our soul mate, but that is exactly what happened with this beautiful couple.
When Aley realized that she had no interest in the guy that was trying to talk to her at the bar, she decided to go for the oldest trick in the book and say that she had a boyfriend. She took it one step further though by picking out a random stranger and saying that he was her boyfriend.
Luckily, this stranger played along and now, years later, they are taking engagement shoot photos in Old City Philadelphia, where their love story started.
