The bride got ready at the couples new home while the groom got ready in the country’s first sky scraper, now home of the Loews Hotel Philadelphia. With views of the Philadelphia skyline and City Hall, the Loews Hotel is definitely a favorite as far as wedding day getting ready locations.
After Kevin finished putting on his custom suit (NFL Giants lining included), and the bride was done with her hair and makeup, the couple met up for a private and emotional first look. Kevin could not control his tears when he saw how beautiful Liz looked on their wedding day. The bride-to-be was truly a vision in her Enzoani wedding dress. Soon after their first look, the couple was joined by their wedding party at The Merchant’s Exchange Building in Old City Philadelphia for some wedding day portraits.
To go with the modern take on a traditional wedding, Liz and Kevin chose black and white as their wedding day colors. The groomsmen and bridesmaids all wore black while Beautiful Blooms filled the ceremony and reception venue with black candles and white roses. The charming ceremony was held in the outdoor courtyard of Cescaphe’s Vie under a gorgeous moon, beautiful chandeliers, and tons of twinkle lights. Even with a larger amount of guests, the night time wedding ceremony felt very intimate.
After the couple exchanged vows, the party continued indoors with music from EBE Paris, hilarious and heartwarming speeches from the couples family, tons of dancing, and an amazing Philly themed cake from Cescaphe Cakes.
