How did you get into wedding and event planning?
How long have you been planning events?
“Since its inception, The Styled Bride has been revered as a leader in creating curated celebrations that evoke the personality and unique style of every couple — and Wedding Director Susan Norcross has been the lead planner and stylist behind the scenes for each one. Together with an impeccable team of the area’s best wedding professionals, Susan creates a multi-faceted vision that combines patterns, textures, and flavors together to ignite the senses. Though her work has taken her everywhere from quintessential city spaces to cherished family locales, the relationships she has developed and continues to maintain with couples, professionals, and industry insiders is her greatest accomplishment.
Susan has worked extensively in the field of special events for over twenty years and has a proven expertise in the coordination and design of events across a wide spectrum. From fashion show production to Catering Manager, her longest tenure was at the Philadelphia-based PR firm Cashman & Associates, where she began as Manager of Special Events, became the Director of Special Events, and then assumed a Vice President position. While at Cashman & Associates, Susan coordinated a variety of celebrations, including galas; charity fundraisers; retail, restaurant and nightlife openings; product launches; fashion shows; gifting suites; press conferences; meetings; and concerts.
Susan left Cashman & Associates in 2011, and after a brief hiatus, she found herself immersed in the event industry once more. This time, she was planning a family member’s wedding, which led her to found her own company, Two Rings ~ One Circus. It was a natural progression for Susan to merge with The Styled Bride, and she has never looked back.”
What types of services do you offer —

“Full-service wedding planning only! Our goal is to create amazing events that represent who you are. You have a wonderful style but also a very busy schedule. Having dreams of a carefully curated event, you imagine a wedding day that is seamlessly planned and beautifully designed, so it can be effortlessly enjoyed. This means you need someone to guide you in the right direction.
Our biggest desire is to create an intimate environment that inspires creativity. Together with you, our goal is to uncover your vision for your wedding day. We want to learn the story of your relationship, the places you have traveled to together, the hobbies that spark your curiosity, and even the aesthetic that fills your home. These details carefully weave together to create an event that feels like a celebration but also one that feels undeniably like both of you.
When you think about weddings, you think about the flowers, the food, and the music. But it’s also about more. Planning a wedding is about celebrating the relationships that have defined and refined you, while creating new memories along the way. It’s about feeling heard and seen and loved throughout your entire planning journey. It’s about you and telling your story.
As a boutique wedding planning firm, we only work with a select number of couples each year so we can be present and by your side for every step of the way — and we invite you to join us.”
What’s your favorite part about working weddings in Philadelphia?
“The options. We are home to some the best restaurants, museums and cultural attractions nationally and internationally. There is so much to experience, and we never plan the same wedding twice. It is always a unique and bespoke environment.”

“We love clients who are just excited about getting married and having a fun, joyful wedding! We are always motivated by the creative process and helping to execute and exceed a couple’s vision.”
What would be your biggest piece of advice to couples?
What about advice for planners who are just starting out?
“Enjoy the process and trust your team. For planners – stay humble and patient. It takes time to find the right trajectory for your business, how you like to work and what type of clientele is right for you.”
